This is Martin Place the train station I ride to when the train is running. It is a pedestrian thoroughfare that is a great place for one of my favorite past times (people watching). I love my laptop. It allows me to do so many things that just a connection doesn't. Today I got to talk to my roommate Dmitri. He got one of his grades changed from a C- to a C+. Maybe I should talk to my Civ Pro teacher, but maybe I should just let it go and move on...

It's all very simple.. It's the music that we choose.

May your music have a good beat that you can dance to.

Order and chaos breed harmony. Harmony is a perfect song.... Yet one cannot fly solo, "It takes two to tango". Do you know of any good songs that contain no music.

If math is the language of the universe, then music is the universal translator. So that we may all one day understand.

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

The conflict between the Lords of Law and Chaos, and the force of the Cosmic Balance, is the central pole around which all of the Eternal revolve. These beings, while godlike in power and scope, are “gods” in much the same way the Greeks saw their divinities, i.e. as entirely human in their workings; full of lust and wrath, and as political an animal as any in existence.
It is the conflicts these beings generate that drive the Multiverse ever onward, inspiring their human agents to feats of tremendous heroism and despicable depravity. They are, in short, the prime motivators of the Balance, at once separate from it and forever enmeshed in its boundaries.

Order and chaos go hand in hand and work off one another. In fact, chaos, which is disorder, is most necessary for order to arise and the more chaos we have in a system, the better that order likes it.
All things in nature seek equilibrium where nature is perfectly balanced. But in a system at perfect equilibrium, nothing is happening.
Therefore how could anything ever order itself from such a system?

In the words of Prigogine: “We begin to have a glimpse of the road that leads from being to becoming.”

Nice to see your awaking!!!

Thank you for the blog, and the glimpse.

I love the music and I love math, so understand, this is not meant to take away in any way shape or form from a most eloquent and erudite depiction of the unity that must needs arise from its own dualty...

I can speak only for myself however, and a much simpler way must suffice, as I am a simple soul and souls much wiser than myself advised...

Cleave hard to the three-fold path of enlightenment...
Eat when you are hungry...
Sleep when you are tired...
And shit when you have to...

It seems to work well in keeping my soul tranquil, at peace, and on the path... but it's still nice to stop now and again along the road just to dance to the music of life!

Hey Big A,

I've been thinking about those rather unprofessorial, hypocritical apologists for the capitalist way of life and I'm thoroughly convinced that they are afraid of what might happen to them if they don't pay lip service to how 'bad' that way of life is, even as they embrace it.

They are probably afraid of being the next terror target, but what they fail to realize is that there is no real middle ground. This is a battle of archangelic proportions for the very heart, mind, body and soul of humankind. If you are an apologist for your enemy, then you are the enemy.

Anyone who does not believe this need only to visit Baghdad (remember, that city is just an example, you pick your own place), walk the streets as a westerner offering, peace, love and joy and see how long before the bullet, bomb or grenade of the hate-filled finds you.

So these guys mouth platitudes to those who would destroy a way of life that, though far from perfect, has brought us down a most enlightening path (though there have been some honest-to-goodness perversions along that path), and sprung from the minds of some very forward thinking beings. It is an evolutionary process.

My real question is, "can't we all just get along?" And the answer for now seems to be a resounding "NO!" So give them back the trash that they want on paper, but don't ever let that rubbish seep into your soul, my son!

Love,

Your Dad

PS: Seek with care and caution for the good in all souls.
